The New Hope Support Group fundraise for New Hope Children's Centre, Kenya and the local community. New Hope is home to 120 children. New Hope Support Group was established in 2005 by employees from Barclays Bank, Radbroke Hall. Our aim at all times is to enable New Hope Children’s Centre to support and care across the wider community and give children an opportunity to break the cycle of poverty through education.

• We manage a sponsorship scheme which helps to pay for the children’s education and cover medical bills. Food, clothing & other basic needs are funded by other supporters

• We fundraised for many projects including new 3 storey building, mother and baby unit, boys dormitory etc

​

We also help the wider community by:

• Grandparents/ families sponsorship scheme to help lift them out of poverty

• Funding education for children in the community who are living with relatives

• Supporting young people in the community with university fees & training schemes

• Raising money to build classrooms & libraries at local schools

• Funding the installation of electricity to enable water to be pumped from a bore hole 

• Fundraising to build 65 houses for homeless families and houses for children at New Hope who have no one to support them when they leave. 

• Sending money to buy sanitary towels for local schools
